Pill clocks are especially helpful for complicated prescriptions that require careful timing beyond the simplicity of a morning or evening dosage.

Pill boxes come in many configurations, including monthly and weekly capacities, and can be color coded to differentiate types of medications or morning/evening dosages, and so on. Pill boxes are also helpful for caretakers who may use the pill box to verify when their patient has consumed a medication for that day.
