Application:

  • Clean skin thoroughly before each use.
  • Remove lotions, oils, makeup, dirt, and excess hair with scissors if needed.
  • Remove transparent liner carefully without damaging gel and retain liners.
  • Using a mirror, place the electrode pad on the lower forehead with the pointed edge facing downward.
  • Press firmly and smooth the pad to ensure full contact with the skin.
  • Do not allow pad edges to extend beyond the electrode profile.
  • Expose the two magnets on the back of the device and bring it toward the electrode pad; it will magnetically align.
  • Select Program 1 Acute Migraine Treatment or Program 2 Prevent Migraine Treatment.
  • Operate according to manufacturer or healthcare provider instructions.
  • Program 1 may be used no more than twice per day. Program 2 may be used once per day.

Removal:

  • At the end of treatment, the device will stop stimulation, emit a series of beeps, and automatically shut off.
  • Ensure the device is off and pull the device away from the electrode pad.
  • Gently lift at the edge of the pad and peel from the skin.
  • Reapply the electrode pad to the liner and seal in the storage bag to preserve adhesive quality.

Read all contraindications, cautions, and warnings before use. Follow instructions from your healthcare provider and the device user manual.

These electrodes are designed for and should be used only in the forehead region.

Do not use with or around the following:

  • Metallic or electric devices
  • Metal body piercings (i.e. facial piercings or ear piercings)
  • Metal hair accessories (i.e. hair clips, barrettes, hairbands)
  • Ear pods
  • Metal mouth pieces (i.e. braces, retainers, metal fillings, metal implants)
  • Artificial eye lashes that contain magnets
  • Eye makeup that contains metallic material
  • Open wounds, rashes, swollen, infected/inflamed areas, varicose veins, phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, or near cancerous lesions
  • Do not use on areas lacking normal sensation
  • Do not place on opposite sides of the head
  • Only apply to the head or face
  • Do not apply to the neck or throat due to risk of airway closure, breathing difficulty, or heart rhythm effects.
  • Do not apply across the chest or both sides of the thorax simultaneously (risk of lethal rhythm disturbance)
  • Do not place directly on the spine or backbone
  • Treat one body part at a time
  • Inspect gel pads before use. If adhesive is damaged or pads no longer adhere firmly, discontinue use and dispose of immediately

Contraindications (do not use):

  • With cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators, or other implanted metallic or electronic devices
  • If you have suspected or diagnosed heart disease, epilepsy, cancer, or a tendency to bleed internally without consulting a physician
  • Over a pregnant uterus
  • Over or near reproductive organs unless the device is specifically designed for such use

Cautions:

  • Skin irritation may occur from electrical stimulation or electrode materials
  • Discontinue use on affected area if irritation develops
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Use appropriate electrode size and shape to avoid discomfort or burns

Adverse Reactions:

  • Skin irritation and burns have been reported
  • Hypersensitivity may occur from electrical stimulation or gel medium
  • Long term effects of prolonged electrical stimulation are unknown
  • Adhesive pulling stress may cause skin issues; apply from center outward and avoid stretching across skin

  • Store with gel pads on blue protective film and sealed
