Fighting Homelessness & Hunger

As of January 2014, the National Alliance to End Homelessness reported there were "578, 424 people experiencing homelessness on any given night in the United States."

To break that number down a bit more:

Of the total, 216,197 people are in families, and 362,163 are individuals. 15% of the homeless would be considered "chronically homeless" while 9% of the homeless are veterans.

To help fight homelessness in New York City, our FSAstore.com recently supported the New York City Rescue Mission.Their mission since 1872 has been to provide food, shelter, clothing and hope to the people who need it most. You can learn moreabout the Rescue Mission by visitinghere.

Our FSAstore.com team recently volunteered and sponsored a meal at the New York City Rescue Mission. We enjoyed preparing dinner & dessert (cake and ice cream) and serving those in need.
