Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Walking in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, our FSAstore.com team enjoyed participating in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" 5-mile walk in Central Park this weekend.
According to the American Cancer Society, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer awareness are among the largest breast cancer awareness events that date back to 1993.
Each year, millions of Americans participate across the country.
This year, our team joined in the walk to support women all over who are facing cancer or have survived, and to support the cause.
Flexible Spending Account Screenings for Cancer

It's also important for women starting in their 20s to perform regular "self" breast exams to check for any unusual lumps or growths, but clinical breast exams are another way to make sure everything is fine. If you notice anything unusual, it's best to follow up with a doctor as soon as you can. You can schedule visit a doctor to make sure you learn how to best perform a "self" exam, or to get a check-up done by a professional.
If you're 40 years old (or older), you should start getting annual mammograms.Learn more about mammograms and why they're so important in prevention and early detection.
