What is the combined FSA election amount for my wife and I?

If you and your wife both sign up for your own Flexible Spending Account, you could contribute up to $5,000 per household in pre-tax money.

Contributions to an FSA are limited to $2,500 per account as of this year. The $2,500 FSA limit will be adjusted for inflation, but remains unchanged for calendar year 2014.
