Virus Preparedness

Virus Preparedness SHOP Virus Preparedness

We’ve made it easier for tax-free shoppers to buy the essentials they need during the crisis.

In an effort to make it easier for tax-free health shoppers to get the eligible essentials they need quickly, we have created a new category called Virus Preparedness that conveniently includes the cold & flu, pain relief and other remedies that are so essential during this public health crisis.

Well Deserve Health

Health-E Selects SHOP Health-E Selects

Find essential products like masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers that you can’t purchase using tax-free funds.

The fact is, while there are many essential products that FSAs and HSAs cover, there are many essential products like personal protective equipment (PPE), masks and more that fall outside the IRS’s rules for eligibility. To help our customers during this time of need, we created a new shopping category on WellDeservedHealth.com called Health-E Selects, so shoppers can purchase those items with any major credit/debit card.

OTC Meds

Eligible OTC Meds SHOP Eligible OTC Meds

Get the relief you need from pain, allergies, cold & flu and more with 100% FSA-eligible over-the-counter meds.

Thanks to the recent passing of the CARES Act, OTC medicines are now eligible. We are working hard round the clock to ramp up our inventory so you can get even more value from your tax-free funds.

Fair Price Pledge

Fair Price Pledge

Our pledge to provide fair price protections for all items in our Virus Preparedness category.

We pledge to provide fair price protections for all items in our Virus Preparedness category. We will make every effort to keep a steady supply of these items available to our customers at current prices. Prices may increase, however, if market conditions require it, such as paying a premium to secure product during a supply shortage, expediting product shipments to our warehouses so you can receive them quicker or other similar situations.

Ensuring consumer and employee safety

Protecting the health of our employees, customers, and their families is always our first priority. Here are some of the steps we’ve taken to ensure their safety and do our part to help flatten the curve:

At a very early stage in the COVID-19 public health crisis, we were quick to transition our staff to a full-time work-from-home structure indefinitely. We have set up immediate resources for employees to make working from home a seamless and comfortable transition. We continue to provide access to the necessary tools, resources and supplies needed, including a reimbursement program for costs incurred, such as internet usage, as a result from carrying out day-to-day functions from home.

The spread of this pandemic has put a strain on access to routine professional healthcare services necessary for the mental health and well-being of many, which is why we have immediately implemented ways to ease adjustments and ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and their loved ones. We started with access to mental and physical support via telehealth services through UnitedHealthcare. Employees can use digital audio-visual technologies, like FaceTime, Skype, Zoom or telehealth applications for their telehealth visits to help them stay in their homes and reduce exposure to the virus. Additionally, with millions of Americans now unemployed, we are providing free career services to families of employees who may have lost their jobs during this crisis with assistance in resume writing, interviewing and more.

We continue to hold routine company-wide meetings and provide weekly updates so employees can remain informed on any changes or services that may be available to them as we continually work to improve their work from home experience.
Availability and accessibility are important. We made sure all employees also have access to video and teleconference tools needed to communicate effectively and openly with one another.

Our role as a health and wellness retailer means that we are part of a critical infrastructure industry, where suppliers work in distribution centers to help you get the products you need to stay healthy.
We have worked closely with our suppliers to ensure the safety of the essential frontline employees working at these sites. All facilities are thoroughly cleaned regularly, and have implemented the worksite hygiene practices in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization guidelines. The best way to protect our customers is to ensure our employees are safe first.
