Lotion: FSA Eligibility

Lotion: reimbursement is not eligible with a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Lotion is not eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement arrangement (HRA), limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA). Lotions with active medical ingredients such as Aquaphor, are eligible if primarily used to treat a medical condition.

What is lotion?

Lotion is a form of moisturizer with a higher water content and that is less sticky than a cream (LIVESTRONG).

Lotion is not eligible for reimbursement because it is considered a general health product and therefore is non-reimbursable.
