Radial keratotomy is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA), or a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA). Radial keratotomy is not eligible with a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
If a medical professional recommends radon mitigation due to it causing a medical condition from being in a home, the cost of mitigation is eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) and eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Radon mitigation reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
Both prescription and nonprescription reading glasses are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) and a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA). Reading glasses reimbursement is not eligible with a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
Amounts that exceed Reasonable and Customary (R&C) expenses are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Reasonable and Customary (R&C) expenses reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
If required for treatment of a medical condition, recliner chairs may qualify for reimbursement with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Recliner chairs reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
If needed to treat a medical condition, the cost of reflexology is eligible for reimbursement with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Reflexology reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
The cost of a rehabilitation center for the treatment of an addiction or a medical condition is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Rehabilitation center reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
Rehydration solution is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Rehydration solution reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
A rental car necessary for transportation to or from a medical related appointment or stay (with the necessary documentation from a physician) is eligible with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Rental car reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA). Also eligible is the mileage for the vehicle up to the allowed rate, which is currently 19 cents per mile. Also see Transportation.
The cost of an orthodontic retainer is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) or a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA). Retainer reimbursement is not eligible with a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
Rhinoplasty is eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) and a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Rhinoplasty reimbursement is not eligible with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
Rubbing alcohol is eligible with a prescription for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Rubbing alcohol is not eligible with a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA) or a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA).
Unless necessary for the treatment of a medical condition in which a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) would be required, rubdowns are not eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement arrangement (HRA), limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
