Botox injections are typically not eligible for reimbursement with an FSA, as they are primarily used for cosmetic purposes. However, in recent years, these injections have begun to be used to treat a variety of health conditions as well, including chronic headaches. In most cases, Botox injections will require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a doctor or other medical practitioner to explain how this treatment will be used to treat a legitimate medical condition. This letter is submitted with other documentation when submitting a reimbursement claim.
