This safe, gentle mini-enema works quickly, effectively, and with little to no side effects to soften and loosen stool and initiate a normal replicated stimulus.

The active ingredient, docusate sodium, functions as a stool softening hyper-osmotic laxative by drawing water into the bowel from surrounding body tissues and acts as a softener by preparing the stool to readily mix with watery fluids.

The increased mass of stool promotes a bowel evacuation by stimulating nerve endings in the bowel lining and initiating peristalsis.

Fast-acting, with an easy application, it produces quick results, typically between 2–15 minutes, as opposed to hours or days for oral constipation medications.

Helpful for people with bowel issues, constipation, or incontinence.

Size:

  • 30 ct. single use 5 mL disposable tubes

Active Ingredient: Docusate Sodium USP (283 mg)

Inactive Ingredients: Glycerine USP, Polyethylene Glycol

Adults and children 12 years of age and older (with adult supervision): one to three units daily.

Children 6 to 12 years of age (with adult supervision): one unit daily.

  1. Twist off and remove tip.
  2. Lubricate tip prior to insertion. Place a few drops of the tube’s liquid content on the shaft prior to insertion.
  3. For best results, lay on the left side with knees bent.
  4. With steady pressure, gently insert the tube into the rectum.
  5. Squeeze to empty contents.
  6. Keep the tube squeezed until it is removed from the rectum.

For rectal use only.

Do not take this product if you are presently taking mineral oil, unless directed by a doctor.
