  4. Remove excess air from the bag before sealing
  5. Press along the entire double zipper seal to ensure the bag is completely closed
  6. Record the date and time of milk expression in the labeling area before storing
  7. Store the bag upright or lay it flat in the refrigerator or freezer
  8. To thaw frozen milk, place the bag in the refrigerator overnight or hold it under warm running water
  9. Gently swirl the milk after thawing to combine any separated layers
  10. Warm the milk gradually before feeding, if desired
  11. Never thaw or heat breast milk in a microwave
