The Washington Post recently hosted an online chat about the Federal Employee Open Season. They invited economist Walt Francis, author of the "Checkbook's Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees & Annuitants" to answer participants questions and share information about available plans.

Now is the time when federal employees can elect new employee benefits or change their existing benefits options - including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Open Season for federal employees ends December 8, 2014.
